Rory McIlroy bought $2 million worth of property in Palm Beach

Rory McIlroy has made over $7 million on the course (just on the course!) this season and he spent a nice chunk of that recently on a penthouse on the beach in South Florida.

According to the South Florida Business Journal McIlroy plopped down a cool $2 million on a three-bedroom penthouse on Singer Island.

"British Open champ Rory McIlroy bought a $2 million condominium at Ocean's Edge on Singer Island.

Gossip Extra reports that the 3,100-square-foot condo at 5050 North Ocean Drive is a three-bedroom 10th floor penthouse.

The No. 1 ranking golfer has spent $13.75 million on Palm Beach area properties in less than two years. In 2012, he bought a $9.25 million waterfront mansion in the Old Gate neighborhood of Palm Beach Gardens, as well as the vacant property next door, for $2.25 million."
