Pick to Win

Marc Leishman

Odds: 20 to 1

World Ranking: 58

Leishman has finished in the top 12 in three of his last four appearances at the Byron Nelson and he's playing pretty well coming in. You know about his T4 at the Masters but he went T8 and T9 in two tournaments after that including last week at the Players Championship. This isn't one of the stronger fields on Tour so there's an opportunity for Leishman to snag a win without Adam Scott, Graeme McDowell, or Tiger Woods (winners of the last three tournaments he's played in) taking it from him.
Lock for Top-10 finish

Jason Dufner

Odds: 15 to 1

World Ranking: 20

The defending champ also finished T8 in 2011. I have more questions about where and when he's going to Dufner (with the trophy? during his practice round?) than I do about whether or not he's going to play well. He hasn't finished strong at the last few tournaments he's played in (Masters, Zurich Classic, Players) but he'll get back on track this week in Dallas with his first top 10 and potentially the first golfer to successfully defend a title in 2013.
Sleeper

Charles Howell III

Odds: 50 to 1

World Ranking: 67

I get that he doesn't win a ton but 50-1 seems pretty high here when he's finished in the top 10 in three of his last five tournaments, doesn't it? Howell is 41st in greens in regulation and 29th in strokes gained putting -- one of the best combined rankings on Tour. His best finish ever here was a T20 in 2011 -- I think he beats that by a wide margin this week.
