For the first time I can remember in the last few years, one of the "Big Three" (Rory McIlroy, Jason Day and Jordan Spieth) is not the favorite at a major championship. Coming off his sixth-straight top 10 on the PGA Tour last week at the Canadian Open, Dustin Johnson is the 8-1 favorite to win the PGA Championship at Baltusrol.

The rest of the sport's young guns reside just behind him, but it is still curious and intriguing that Johnson would be the guy at this point. Let's take a look at all the odds, according to Westgate Superbook.

Favorite

  • Dustin Johnson: 8-1

Johnson has finished in the top 10 in four of the six PGA Championships he's played and six of the last seven major championships he's played. So you can see why he sits here.

Other favorites

  • Jason Day: 9-1
  • Rory McIlroy: 9-1
  • Jordan Spieth: 12-1
  • Henrik Stenson: 15-1

Too high for Stenson. Too low for Spieth. Do we really think Stenson is going to win two straight majors to close out the 2016 major championship season?

Fringe favorites

  • Phil Mickelson: 20-1
  • Sergio Garcia: 25-1
  • Adam Scott: 30-1
  • Justin Rose: 30-1
  • Bubba Watson: 30-1

I'm not in love with anyone at these numbers. Maybe Sergio at 25-1, though he hasn't finished in the top 10 at one since 2008 when he was T2 to Padraig Harrington at Oakland Hills.

Others of interest

  • Rickie Fowler: 40-1
  • Matt Kuchar: 40-1
  • Branden Grace: 40-1
  • Patrick Reed: 40-1
  • Brooks Koepka: 50-1
  • Louis Oosthuizen: 50-1
  • Zach Johnson: 50-1
  • Jim Furyk: 50-1
  • Charl Schwartzel: 50-1
  • Brandt Snedeker: 50-1

Wait, Fowler and Kuchar have the same odds? Fowler's dropped from 25-1 last week to 40-1 this week, which seems a little bit odd.

Reed still doesn't have a top 10 at a major championship, by the way. Oosthuizen does not have a top 10 at the PGA Championship. I'm sort of feeling Furyk at 50-1 for some reason.
