$2.5 million hole-in-one prize on the table in Dubai

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy will tee it up in the same tournament for the first time in 2014 this week in Dubai and a lot more than the $2.5 million purse will be at stake.

The tournament is offering an additional $2.5 million to anyone who can ace the 324-yard par-4 17th hole at the Emirates Golf Club

It's a fun offer and a smart one by the tournament since it's probably not going to happen. Though after double eagles being made in each of the last two European Tour tournaments, I guess nothing is out of the question.

Golf in Dubai chief executive Mohamed Juma Buamaim said he's excited about the draw.

"I am sure the prize will be a talking point among players and will help draw big galleries to the hole as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of our event," said Buamaim.
