Adam Scott: I'd rather have my year than Tiger's
Adam Scott talks candidly about how he feels he's had a better PGA Tour season than Tiger Woods.
"I'd rather have mine." "He may want mine. I mean, No. 15 is proving to be difficult."
Well ok then!
I don't think it's technically considered a "shots fired" statement from the Scott camp to the Woods camp but it's not exactly a "hey, great year Tiger!" nod either.
Especially from the soft-spoken Scott.
You know what though, he's right. Woods would trade all five of his tournament wins for five strokes at Augusta which would have given him the win.
The crazy part about Woods' season is that even though he's 0-4 in major championships, he's won five out of seven PGA Tour stroke-play tournaments.
That's a joke. I don't know if you can do math well but that's over a .700 winning percentage. For one guy! It's difficult for a sponsor with multiple golfers (say, Callaway) to get that many wins in a year, much less one guy.
Tiger has more than half as many PGA Tour wins this season as Scott does in his career. And he's had a great career.
Still, the fact remains, Tiger wants (and needs) green jackets and Open trophies. Scott got one of those this year, Woods didn't.
