Biggest golf crowd ever attends third round of Phoenix Open
A year-old golf record was shattered by over 10,000 fans on Saturday.
According to Jim Nantz on the CBS broadcast a new record for most fans at a golf tournament -- on the PGA Tour or otherwise -- was set on Saturday at the Phoenix Open.
189,722 fans attended the show on Saturday to watch Bubba Watson take a two-stroke lead heading to the final round.
The old record was 179,022 and was set on Saturday of last year's Phoenix Open.
