The product

The TaylorMade Microlite stand bag is a bag for the almost-minimalist golfer and frankly it's pretty great whether you're walking or riding in a cart.

How does it work?

If you're reading this you likely know how a golf bag works. It's pretty standard in terms of a modern stand bag but here are a few of my favorite features:

None of the pockets are wasted -- I hate using bags that have too many pockets and I don't even know what to do with half of them. I know what to do with every pocke on this bag.

Plenty of room for clubs: Another of my favorite things is how much room there is up top to shove my clubs back in after I hit a poor shot.

• Light, light, light: At only 4.5 pounds, it's incredibly lightweight and easy to carry around.

Why do you need it?

It's a great bag at a great price and super versatile. Like I said earlier, you can either walk or ride quite easily with it and I even played the Crowne Plaza Invitational pro-am with it and my caddie loved carrying it around that track.

It comes in solid colors and is just a well-made product.

How much is it?

This bag is only $160 and comes in black/white, black/white/red, white/black, and navy/black/white.
