This infographic fascinated me. My first thought was "holy crap, I forgot Scott Piercy shot an 88 at the British Open!"

I also loved the hardest/easiest holes graphic. There were only 11 birdies on No. 18 at Merion!

How impressive was Stenson's four-major campaign, too? He did about as well as a golfer can do without taking home some hardware. Here's how his major season went:

Master: T18
US Open: T21
British Open: Second
PGA Championship: Third

Mighty impressive.

While we're here -- I was randomly perusing Sergio Garcia's career the other day and I was reminded he finished eighth-fourth-T8-T10 at the majors in 2002. That's insane. I would imagine the list of golfers who have finished in the top 10 in each major of a season isn't long.

Jack Nicklaus has done it five times and Tiger Woods only twice.
