It's Tuesday of the 2014 US Open and Phil Mickelson is already scrambling

It's US Open week which means Phil Mickelson is scrambling. Like, literally scrambling, already. And it's Tuesday.

Mickelson played a practice round with Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth, and Justin Thomas on Tuesday (probably no money involved there, nope!) and banged it around the yard a little bit as shown above.

That photo is also a good look at some of the new waste areas at Pinehurst No. 2. Well "new" -- they're actually harkening to the old days when the course was first invented. Between the 2005 US Open and this one the rough was pulled out and replaced by more natural elements.
