“Have you seen the pimento cheese shoes yet?” is not a sentence I ever thought I would hear anyone say, much less ask me. But my editor queried me the other day about said kicks, and yes, they are pretty hilarious and amazing.
Adidas is releasing the kicks for $180 to honor the upcoming Masters. Here is what they had to say.
The all white shoe, symbolic of the sandwich’s white bread, features minimalistic pops of green on the heal and sole, and a pimento cheese designed sockliner paying homage to the $1.50 concession stand staple.
The shoes are minimalist and clean. They also have photos of pimento cheese sandwiches on the interior for all my pimento-loving Masters fans out there (I personally think it’s overrated). Enjoy. Or Don’t. Whatever.
