Lucy Li, 11 years old, shoots 78 in first round of US Women's Open
A pre-teen is playing pretty well at Pinehurst for the US Women's Open.
OK, this is getting a little bit silly.
But to go out and break 80 when only seven women were under par at the time you finished?
That doesn't seem fair.
And yet, that's what 11-year-old (have we mentioned that she's 11 years of age?) Lucy Li did on Thursday in the first round of the US Women's Open.
Here's a look at her card:
There are men, major-championship-winning men, who didn't break 78 last week at the US Open at Pinehurst.

Als, this is a pretty great look for her.
And who can blame her for wanting more sweets? I'd eat 39 gallons of ice cream if I ever broke 80 at any course, much less Pinehurst No. 2 in a major.

You know what's even better? With that first-round 78 Li has an outside chance at making the cut on Friday.
