This photo of the Masters from the 1940s is just spectacular.
One of my favorite things about this time of year is sifting through old, awesome photos of Augusta like this one.
This picture is from under the monstrous oak tree next to the clubhouse at Augusta National.
According to this article, the oak is nicknamed "The Big Oak Tree" was planted in 1850 (1850!)
The No. 1 fairway is on the left with the massive hand-operated leaderboard straight ahead.
