Which two golfers have combined for 97 appearances at Augusta?
Today marks the 97-day mark from the beginning of the 2014 Masters.
"Did you know" time.
Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus have combined for 97 appearances at the Masters.
Player has 52 and Nicklaus has 45. Player's 52 is the most ever and Nicklaus' 45 is the fourth-most. Only Arnold Palmer (50), Doug Ford (49), and Raymond Floyd (46) have more than Nicklaus.
Nicklaus and Player are also two of the top three all-time in top 10 finishes at Augusta. Nicklaus has 22 and Player has 15. Only Hogan (17) has more than Player. Nobody has more than Nicklaus.
While we're doing numbers, just 14 more weeks until the Masters gets underway.
