Masters odds: Bubba Watson is the favorite
Jordan Spieth and Matt Kuchar are on the outside looking in, but barely. A look at the odds as we turn to Sunday at Augusta.
It's Bubba Watson's tournament to lose. Or so says Vegas.
Bovada has posted odds on who will win the 79th green jacket and the left-handed free-swinger stands alone atop the field as the favorite.
But he's got some stars right on his heels. A look at who the golfers to beat are on Sunday at Augusta:
Bubba Watson: 11-4
Jordan Spieth: 7-2
Matt Kuchar: 4-1
Jonas Blixt: 10-1
Rickie Fowler: 12-1
Lee Westwood: 12-1
Miguel Angel Jimenez: 20-1
Jim Furyk: 25-1
Justin Rose: 28-1
Thomas Bjorn: 28-1
Adam Scott: 66-1
I think smart money gets put on Fowler. It feels like if this tournament was played 10 times he would win at least one of them.
Also, Scott at 66-1 is at least intriguing. He's only six back with 13 golfers between him and the leaders. That happens at least once in 66 tries, I think.
Fowler shot a 4-under 67 but couldn't stop thinking about Hazeltine
Not sure on the math here, but Spieth's general idea makes some sense
