It wasn't just that she did it, it was how she did it.

Resoundingly, with a birdie at No. 17 and her 72nd straight non-three putt on No. 18. Then the tears and the joy and the 24 years of anticipation -- an anticipation none of us will ever know -- flowed.

It was pretty cool to see. 

The photos at the top are a pretty cool summation of Wie's afternoon -- my favorite is the one of Wie hugging Stacy Lewis (who finished second) after the tournament.
