Nicholas Thompson makes barefoot par out of water
The shot of the tournament so far came from out of the water.
Nicholas Thompson shot a 75 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational on Saturday and was 16 back of the leaders at the time of this post, but he did give us the shot (and possibly moment) of the tournament so far.
Thompson hit his tee shot on the par-3 No. 17 hole into the water but decided to go in after it -- without his shoes and socks on -- and knocked it about six inches from the pin.
The best part of the hole was that he finished off the crazy par save sans shoes and socks.
Thompson went on to birdie No. 18.
