PGA Tour Expert Picks: Honda Classic
The most loaded field of 2014 will get things rolling on the Florida swing. Tiger Woods is back, so is Rory McIlroy, and Adam Scott is coming out of his two-month hiatus.
It's 80 degrees in Florida this week and the PGA Tour has finally swunge east from California and Arizona to Florida.
Here's a Q&A on this week's event:
What is it?
The Honda Classic is the first of four straight events in Florida. It will be followed by the Cadillac Championship, the Valspar Championship, and the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Where is it?
PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Wait, PGA National, I've heard of it
You should have. It's home to the Bear Trap, one of the more famous three-hole runs in all of golf:
When is it?
February 27 - March 2, 2014
What is the purse?
How can I watch it?

It's the best field in terms of the top 10 players in the world all season. Of the top 10 players only Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose, and Jason Day won't be participating.
Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott, Henrik Stenson, Zach Johnson, and Sergio Garcia will all be in attendance.
Who are the former champions?
2013 -- Michael Thompson
2012 -- Rory McIlroy
2011 -- Rory Sabbatini
2010 -- Camilo Villegas
2009 -- YE Yang
Wait, isn't this the tournament where...
Yes, we're returning to the scene of the crime of McIlroy's infamous inflamed incisor last year.
So who are you picking?
Keegan Bradley (28-1) -- He's too good to have not won in the last two seasons and I think he fills up the win column sooner rather than later. Finished T4 here last season and T12 the season before that. He, like most of the top players, feels at home in Florida and I see him transporting some hardware back to his house on Sunday evening.
Lock for top 10
Charl Schwartzel (20-1) -- I'm just going to keep riding him until he lets me down. I picked him for the Northern Trust Open and he finished fifth. His last three finishes at this tournament include a T9, T5, and T14. It's a big-boy field but this Masters winner knows how to handle those.
Luke Guthrie (80-1) -- I like a little bit of the unknown in my sleeper picks. Guthrie has only played this tournament once (last season) and he finished third. He's been solid so far this season with a top five and three top 25s. I like him to make noise in Florida this weekend.
