Photo of the year candidate: These Tiger Woods fans are dedicated
Painting your face for Tiger Woods at the Cadillac Championship? One family is all in on it.
Here at Eye on Golf we like to put forth some of the best golf photos we see every week. Photos that are too good for a tweet. Photos that capture the wackiness and beauty of the sport. Here's one of those.
Tiger Woods is stumbling through his first round at the Cadillac Championship but it doesn't matter to this family. They're all in on watching Tiger at Doral this week no matter if he takes 100 putts or 1,000.
That face paint, though. That looks like a professional job. I'm pretty impressed. And I'm going to guess the 79 on the little girl's shirt represents Tiger's career win total and not what he's going to shoot for his first round (or maybe both?)
We love to take jabs at Tiger but the reality is that fans like these (and millions of others) wouldn't be following golf if it wasn't for him. That's a win for everyone.
