Rory McIlroy gets 'Sports Illustrated' cover treatment
The Ulsterman is 75 percent of the way to the career grand slam and now he has a big-time magazine cover to show for it.
This is pretty cool.
It's rare a golfer not named Tiger Woods finds cover of Sports Illustrated but that's exactly what Rory McIlroy did this week.
Actually, of late it's been rare that any golfer gets on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Since 2009 there have only been five SI golf covers. Here's the breakdown:
Rory McIlroy: 2
Tiger Woods: 1
Phil Mickelson: 1
Bubba Watson: 1
