As somebody who writes and blogs about golf every single day, I see a lot of trick shots come across my screen. Some are good. Some are awful. Some are sent to me by the source. Some are sent to me by somebody who discovered something wonderful. I'm tired of looking at them, though, so Rory McIlroy is going to take it from here.
McIlroy announced this week that he's having a trick-shot contest for a spot in the pro-am of his Irish Open at the beginning of July. McIlroy is the host and the defending champion, and the tournament will be played this year at Portstewart.
I'll let him explain the rest.
