Someone shot an 88 on Saturday at the 2014 US Open
The scores at the third round of the US Open are not pretty.
Toru Taniguchi qualified for the 2014 US Open via a sectional qualifier in Japan. He did so by two shots.
He might wish he hadn't at this point.
Teeing off early on Saturday Taniguchi went out and shot an 88 -- the worst round of the tournament so far by five shots.
Here's a look at his card which included seven bogeys, four double bogeys, and a triple bogey.
Taniguchi is now 23 over and 33 strokes back of leader Martin Kaymer. Also, his 88 is the worst round ever at a US Open at Pinehurst by three shots. Yikes.
I know the feeling, Toru, we all do.
