One of my favorite things about the Masters is the peripherial stuff associated with the tournament. The $1.50 pimiento cheese sandwiches, nobody touching anybody else's chairs, the admission badges, the sweet tea -- I love all of it.

So I was excited to see that the 2013 badges were a throwback to yesteryear. Here's a look:

You should head over to The Augusta Chronicle website and take a look at their full photo gallery of every badge going back to 1934.

My five favorites:

1936 -- looks like a peach
1954 -- classic green
1961 -- how many people used these as coasters?
1974 -- I don't know why, I just love it
1985 -- maybe the most traditional badge ever

Also a special shout-out to that 2001 jewel, if you still have that one. It's a keeper.
