Tiger Woods' injury is not an April Fool's joke
Plenty on social media thought Tiger Woods' back injury announcement might be a joke. It's definitely not.
You know, April 1 isn't exactly the best day to announce huge news about a subject tons of people have numerous questions about.
Why not Monday night or Wednesday morning? But in the middle of a Tuesday when Twitter and Google are taking April Fool's to previously unforseen heights.
Tiger Woods' agent, however, confirmed that the news that his client is out of the Masters with a back injury is no joke.
Just phoned agent Mark Steinberg's office at Excel Sports Mgmt. Told "everything on Tiger Woods' website is accurate."— Jeff Schultz (@JeffSchultzAJC) April 1, 2014
Plus, Tiger doesn't roll like that. He's not the jolly guy who's going to gag the world with news that his back is actually all right and he's actually playing in the Masters. He's above that, thankfully.
