Tiger Woods announced on Tuesday that he still intends to play the 2014 Arnold Palmer Invitational despite a gimpy back.

Woods' agent Mark Steinberg told ESPN Woods is trying to get healthy before defending his 2013 Bay Hill title next weekend.

"Tiger is continuing to get treatment and and get himself in a good place for next week," said Steinberg. "He intends to be at Bay Hill."

Woods has won at Bay Hill a record eight times.
