Tiger Woods shoots 30 on front nine at Bridgestone Invitational
Tiger Woods is lighting up the Bridgestone Invitational on Friday with an insane front-nine 30 including an second-hole eagle.
Tiger Woods went out at the Bridgestone Invitational on Friday with a 5-under 30 (!) on the front nine. His 30 included three birdies and an eagle (you can see the video above).
Woods holds the course record at Firestone when he fired a 61 at the 2000 tournament. That score is also tied for his lowest round ever on the PGA Tour. He's matched it four other times.
According to the PGA Tour Media Twitter account, this is the fourth time Woods has shot a 30 on the front nine at Firestone. He did it in his first two rounds in the 2000 tournament and in round four in 2009.
The Tiger 59 watch is becoming a real thing at this point as he needs to shoot a 29 on the back nine which doesn't seem out of the question given that he one-putted his first seven holes.
