I do love me an infographic and this one about the 2014 US Open is pretty sweet. I especially like how it shows how 10,127 applicants get filtered down to the 60 and ties for the final two rounds of the tournament.

I played one of the local qualifiying courses the other day (more on that later) and I can confirm that you aren't messing around if you can get through that into sectional qualifying.

For contest -- last year 57 golfers qualified through sectionals to get into the big boy tournament.

May the best man (and woman) win.
