Bubba Watson is nothing if not a crowd pleaser. And the show was on full display Thursday at the Phoenix Open.

Watson nearly aced No. 16 -- which might have caused the place to burn itself down -- then proceeded to throw free sunglasses into the crowd as he marched up to roll in his birdie putt.

Watson shot a 7-under 64 and is tied with YE Yang for the first-round lead.

Could we have a lefty win this tournament two straight years (Phil Mickelson won it last year)?

I think we could.
