Jim Furyk was 1 up through 16 holes and in the driver's seat to move to the semifinals after Rickie Fowler made bogey at the par-3 16th hole.

Fowler had just lost four holes in a row after being 3 up through 12 holes. The swings in this match were pretty unbelievable.

But Furyk went bogey-bogey on his finish and ended up handing the match to Fowler on the 18th with an atrocious first chip (video above).

Fowler didn't do anything special (a par-par finish) so losing the match was a huge bummer for Furyk. Fowler told CBS' David Feherty he just tried to be patient.

"You can say it got a little weird. I knew he was going to put something up when he was three down. I didn't make too many bad swings."
