VIDEO: Phil Mickelson with a pretty incredible chip at the Memorial
Phil Mickelson isn't playing like he's under an FBI investigation.
Phil Mickelson shot his third straight round in the 70s on Saturday with a third-round 72 that was pretty good given the pressure he's facing from an alleged FBI investigation.
And this chip is about as Mickelson as it gets. It looked like he was aiming for another hole and of course he flips it all the way around to about two feet from the hole. Pretty awesome stuff from Lefty.
Mickelson answered questions after his round about the investigation but didn't provide many answers:
Phil walks into post-round media horde and says "awesome'' when noticing how many. Not there to talk about shooting 72.— Bob Harig (@BobHarig) May 31, 2014
This is obviously going to be interesting to keep tabs on as we head to the US Open in two weeks.
Mickelson is T47 after three rounds at Muirfield Village.
