VIDEO: Scott Brown hits bridge at The Barclays, still makes eagle
Scott Brown, who won the Puerto Rico Open earlier in 2013, nearly made an ace on a par 4 on Thursday because of an incredible fortuitous bounce.
How lucky was this shot?
Scott Brown tried to drive the 325-yard par-4 No. 16 at The Barclays on Thursday and hit a pretty bad shot. Luckily for him a bridge was built directly over the water Brown's ball was going in and he got an incredible bounce that nearly sent his ball in the hole for a par-4 hole-in-one.
The play was No. 1 on SportsCenter's Top 10 on Thursday night.
Also, if you're wondering, there has only been one hole-in-one on par 4s in PGA Tour history.
Brown made the putt for eagle.
