Video: Short game magician Phil Mickelson pulls off another gem on the 18th at TPC Boston
There is no doubt that Phil Mickelson is one of the most creative golfers ever, and this shot on No. 18 in the final round of the Deutsche Bank Championship helps prove that.
It's no surprise that 2012 hasn't been one of Phil Mickelson's best seasons. He only has one win, he's struggled in three of the four majors and has had an incredibly poor finish to his season.
But every week is a chance to bounce back (just ask Nick Watney at the Barclays), and Phil fired four straight rounds in the 60s this week at TPC Boston.
The best shot of his week? It came on his final hole, when Phil's second shot on the par-5 18th came to rest in the rough near the right green-side bunker. Phil went all Phil on us, choking down on the club and hacking it out to a few feet, and he clawed that putt in for the birdie and a final round 66.
You know, this Phil guy might think about making a short game DVD to showcase some of these incredible flip wedges.
