The snow is coming down in Marana, Ariz., at the Match Play Championship. Play has been postponed until Thursday because, well, because nobody can tell the difference between the golf balls and the snowflakes right now.

Luke Donald is actually a fan of the weather right now; he won the Match Play Championship back in 2011 as snow covered the entire course for his final match with Martin Kaymer (photo below via Getty).

One issue the tournament could run into is that temperatures aren't supposed to rise for a while on Thursday.

They will try to start at 8:25 local time, which means there's most likely still going to be snow and ice on the ground. As the tempuratures rise throughout the morning, play should be rolling again, though.

The second round will start Thursday afternoon after the first round commences.

All scores from Wednesday's matches will carry over to Thursday.
