Video: Tiger Woods chips in for birdie during second round of CIMB Classic
Tiger Woods' second shot on the par-3 7th found nothing but the cup during second-round play at the CIMB Classic.
No, it wasn't the 59 that Tiger Woods had said was out there during this week's CIMB Classic (even with preferred lies being played on Friday at The MINES Resort & Golf Club), but it was a pretty darn good shot on the par-3 7th.
Missing the green left, Tiger didn't have a ton of room to work with, but we all know how good the man is when he faces a tough flop shot in rough conditions. Woods tossed it high in the air, let it land and run out and it found nothing but cup for his third birdie of the day.
Tiger's second round 67 has him at 9-under in the co-sanctioned PGA Tour event in Malaysia, with the only problem being that a lot of other big names seem to be having more success on this golf course.
Robert Garrigus sits at 14-under, with Mr. Popped Collar himself, Jbe' Kruger sitting at 12-under and two other players at 10-under.
