VIDEO: Tiger Woods hits shot on bridge from Europe into Asia
Tiger Woods hit a shot on Tuesday afternoon in Turkey that literally traveled the distance of two continents.
Tiger Woods hitting a golf ball from one continent to another is not something I ever thought I'd see but it happened on Tuesday in Istanbul on the Bosphorus Bridge.
The bridge spans the Bosphorus strait which is where Europe and Asia are connected.
The Telegraph noted the inconvenience this caused for local residents who were trying to cross the bridge in the middle of the afternoon.
"Tiger Woods stopped the traffic in Istanbul today as he hit a golf ball from one continent into another, a publicity stunt ahead of his latest big-money tournament appearance..
"The Bosphorus Bridge was closed during one of the busiest times of the day for traffic, prompting outrage from local residents, as thousands of people lined up to watch Woods hit the ball over the bridge from Europe into Asia."
The way Woods has been hitting his driver this year I would rather be outraged over not being allowed on the bridge than be one of the cars driving on the right side of it.
