This one shows probably Woods' most emotional victory ever as he was returning after his father's death in 2006 to win a major for the first time.

Woods was one back of Graeme McDowell after the first round then went out and shot a sick 65 in the second to lead Ernie Els by one after two rounds.

He shot a steady 71 on day three before closing with a 67 to beat Chris DiMarco by two on Sunday.

Woods is the only golfer to win a major at Royal Liverpool since 1967.
