Putters
Normally, we select a putter series that features both blade and mallet styles. But TaylorMade's Rossa Inza putter is strictly a mallet head.
Thus, many golfers who prefer blade style putters will not adapt to the Inza. That's especially so because the reverse trapezoid shape not only looks odd, it presents a seemingly narrower impact zone. For blade lovers, there are lots of good choices among the Birdie awards.
But a cadre of CBSSports.com testers raved about the Rossa Inza, which features a high MOI (stability factor) and movable weight technology, along with TaylorMade's AGSI+ insert technology. The putter is versatile, easy to align and provides a solid roll.
Suggested retail price is $199.

Balls
Trispeed is a three-piece ball geared for both distance and feel, and targeted at a wide array of skill levels and swing speeds.
"As its name implies, the Srixon Trispeed has three layers of technology, each of which is designed for speed and distance," said a Srixon representative.
The ball is driven by a super soft, Energetic Gradient Growth core, where the core is firmer on the outside and gets progressively softer toward the center. The net result should be a high launch with low spin. The mid-layer is a proprietary Rabalon HR ionomer for enhanced ball speed while a soft Rabalon blended cover delivers considerable "feel."
CBSSports.com testers rated the Trispeed "excellent" for all-around play, feel and responsiveness.
Suggested retail price is $40 per dozen.
