Poulter hangs on to slim lead at Singapore Open

SINGAPORE (AP) -England's Ian Poulter shot a one-over 72 to hang on to a one-shot lead over Graeme McDowell after three rounds Sunday at the Singapore Open.

Poulter, who is 11-under, led by five strokes after two rounds before conceding three bogeys and a double-bogey on the front nine of the third round, which was completed Sunday because of rain delays the previous three days.

Northern Ireland's McDowell had a third-round 67.

The fourth round is scheduled to begin later Sunday.

China's Liang Wenchong (68) was three shots off the lead and seven players were tied at 6-under. Ernie Els (72) joined five others at 5-under while Phil Mickelson (69) was 4-under with four others.
