Pick to Win

Nick Watney

Odds: 20 to 1

World Ranking: 21st

As Golf.com pointed out, the last 10 winners at this tournament have been spectacular in par-5 scoring. You know who was a top 15 par-5 performer last year? Nick Watney. He's had two top 10s in his last three appearances here. Watney had a good, not great, outing in Hawaii and still finished with a top 15. Can Nike make it two of the last three tournaments for its golfers? I say yes.
Lock for Top 10 finish

Charles Howell III

Odds: 25 to 1

World Ranking: 66th

What, are you picking against him? His first eight rounds of the year look like this: 66-64-67-66-67-65-67-64. Per PGATour.com Howell ranks No. 1 all-time in earnings at Torrey Pines among golfers who haven't won the tournament. He has six top 15s here, two runners-up. He ranked second in par-5 performance on Tour in 2012. Again, are you going to pick against all of this?
Sleeper

Brandon de Jonge

Odds: 70 to 1

World Ranking: 87th

A Different pick, same theme: de Jonge can score on par-5s as he proved by posting a -14 score at par-5 holes at the Humana Challenge last weekend. He was No. 1 on Tour last year in par-5 performance and he plays pretty well at Torrey (T27 and T37 in his last two appearances). I'm looking for the 2012 Zimbabwe Sportsman of the Year to be in the hunt this Sunday.
Bet I Love

Tiger Woods will not finish in the top 10 (+150)

World Ranking: 2nd

You guys get taken advantage of by Vegas because of your disillusionment with Tiger. He's not playing well right now, I mean you saw this shot in Abu Dhabi, correct?
