Notes: Woods has won the event six times - in 1999 at Valderrama in Spain, 2002 at Mount Juliet in Ireland, 2003 at Capital City in Atlanta, 2005 at Harding Park in San Francisco, 2006 at The Grove in England and 2007 at Doral. He also won regular tour events at Doral in 2004 and 2006. Woods tied for 37th last week in the Honda Classic, closing with a 74. He won the Farmers Insurance Open in January for his 75th PGA Tour title. ... Top-ranked Rory McIlroy walked off the course in the middle of his second round at the Honda Classic. He told three reporters who followed him that he was "not in a good place mentally." An hour later, his management company said he couldn't concentrate because of a sore wisdom tooth. In his only other events this year, he missed the cut in Abu Dhabi and lost in the first round of the Match Play Championship. ... Phil Mickelson won in 2009. He won the Phoenix Open last month for his 41st PGA Tour title. ... Matt Kuchar won the first WGC event of the season, beating Hunter Mahan two weeks ago in the final of the Match Play Championship. ... The Tampa Bay Championship is next week, followed by the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Houston Open and the Masters. ... The European Tour will be in India next week for the Avantha Masters.

The 17-year-old Kim earned a tour card at the qualifying tournament, but won't become a full tour member until he turns 18 in June.
