Each week during the official PGA Tour season,'s Kyle Porter will give his best shot at pegging the winner and seeing what other golfers will have a good week. The picks are based on a combination of homework, guesswork and just plain instinct.

Pick to Win

Sergio Garcia

Odds: 16 to 1

World Ranking: 17th

Finished in the top 16 in each of his last two starts at the Tampa Bay Championship. Despite what he probably thinks, Garcia is playing very well right now. 12 straight top 25 finishes dating back to last year plus a top 15 at the Northern Trust Open and top five at the Cadillac Championship make him my pick this week.
Lock for Top 10 finish

Luke Donald

Odds: 16 to 1

World Ranking: 3rd

His last two appearances at this tournament resulted in a win and a T6 performance. Donald didn't play that well at Doral but four double bogeys on No. 18 had something to do with that. He knows Copperhead well and has posted stellar performances of late. I see much of the same again this weekend.

Graham Delaet

Odds: 66 to 1

World Ranking: 117th

Finished in the top 10 at both the Farmers Insurance Open and the Honda Classic and really played well at the Honda Classic with a 65-68 start. Ranks seventh on Tour in total driving and sixth in greens in regulation which means he should have plenty of scoring opportunities in Tampa Bay. He'll contend if he can convert some of them.
Bet I love

Adam Scott to finish in Top 10

Odds: Yes (+140)

You actually get better odds with him to finish in the top 10 than you do with Donald, even though you get worse odds for Scott to win the entire tournament. You can blame it on his sometimes-unsteady game but Scott is scorching right now. Two top 10s in his last two PGA Tour stroke play events and the lack of a star-studded field mean he should easily finish inside the top 10.
