Glover survives challenges from all sides to win U.S. Open
Turning back challenges from sentimental favorite Phil Mickelson and a reborn David Duval, Lucas Glover wins the U.S. Open, finishing two shots clear of the field at 4 under.

Glover turns down fire in his belly, delivers on promise
Turning back sentimental favorites Phil Mickelson and David Duval, Lucas Glover wins the U.S. Open by two Monday at Bethpage Black. Steve Elling says the title is born in a two-month attitude adjustment last winter.

While everyone around was probably expecting David Duval to fail and fold after tripling his first hole of the day, the long-ago No. 1 golfer in the world was expecting to win the U.S. Open on Monday.

Good Luck to Trevor Murphy of Vermont being a fellow VT athlete I wish him the best out there this week and I think he will make the cut hopefully!  It would make for a great story in VT and plenty of people back in VT will be following.
