"The sixth hole has been lengthened to play as a 558 yard par five for
the 2011 U.S. Open. It is a slight dogleg to the left and bunkers protect
the right side of the landing area. Laying up with the second shot on
this hole will be a prudent choice, as a pond runs the entire right side
of the green and pinches the right side approach. Two bunkers guard the
left approach. The green has three different levels offset by modest
transitions."
