Dec. 10, 2009 - FT. LAUDERDALE, FL: CBSSports.com and CBS Sports Mobile today announced they will provide live streaming webcasts of select CBS Sports broadcasts of the NCAA on CBS, featuring NCAA basketball games from the Big East, Big Ten and SEC conferences during the 2009-10 season. College Basketball Live on CBSSports.com tips off this Saturday, Dec. 12 with the CBS Sports broadcast of *No. 4 Kentucky at Indiana (12:00 p.m., ET).
Additionally, the CBS Sports broadcast of the 110th Army-Navy College Football Classic will also be streamed live on CBSSports.com this Saturday, Dec. 12 (2:30 p.m., ET).
College Basketball Live will stream a total of 26 men's and women's college basketball games free of charge on CBSSports.com over the course of the 2009-10 season. Viewers of College Basketball Live will have the ability to access a scoreboard feature with in-game statistics as well as track college basketball scores and standings from around the country. Additional options include a live chat feature, video preview segments and on-demand highlights as the game progresses.
Mobile users can also access College Basketball Live and the Army-Navy College Football Classic live on CBS Sports Mobile through the CBS Sports: Live College Games application, which is available for iPhone and iPod Touch users. Additionally, the College Basketball Live games will be available on both the FLO TV and V CAST Video services nationwide.
In addition to live streaming NCAA basketball action, the CBS Sports: Live College Games application for the iPhone and iPod touch will provide users in-game box scores and player stats, even as an overlay on top of the video. Additionally, a full NCAA basketball scoreboard, individual gamecenters for top 25 matchups, polls, headlines and standings are accessible through the CBS Sports: Live College Games application. Developed in partnership with MobiTV, the CBS Sports: Live College Games application is now available for $4.99 from Apple's App Store on iPhone and iPod touch.
