Top ten favorite players of all time

I noticed a lack of pitchers on your list. Here's a good top 10 for you.

10. Luis Gonzales. Just cuz he beat the yankees in 01.

9. Ryne Sandberg. Nothing like seeing him sky for a line drive. You knew he would always get it.

8. Nolan Ryan. Even though I am a Sox fan, it was still funny seeing him pound on Robin Ventura.

7. Willie Mays. Still dont know how he ran down that ball at the Polo Grounds.

6. David Wright. Reppin for the home town (Chesapeake, VA)

5. Yogi Berra. Only Yankee I can tolerate.

4. Pete Rose. Best hitter ever. Will be in the Hall someday.

3. Joe Crede. Highly underrated 3rd baseman. Will get a gold glove someday if he can stay healthy.

2. Dennis Eckersley. The first truly great closer. And you gotta love that stache.

1. Jack McDowell. The reason I started following baseball, the reason I am a fan of the pale hose. No one was better than Blackjack in the early 90s.

Let me know what you think.

Top ten favorite players of all time

If I may I will give you my number one and then return to update the list.

Thurman Munson, 7x All-Star selection (1971, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978) 2x World Series champion (1977, 1978) 3x Gold Glove Award winner (1973, 1974, 1975). 1976 AL MVP, 1970 AL Rookie of the Year, New York Yankees #15 retired. All in only ten seasons, he died way to young.
