Dodgers all but dead?

Well not anymore!  Apparently the sutures can now be removed.  The bleeding has finally stopped.

That's right patients---3 WINS IN A ROW!

I would have to say that this teams looks officially resuscitated.  There's life in the bats and the bullpen has been revived.

Here's to your clean bill of health L.A.!

Uh...Where ya goin' doc?......Why don't you continue to monitor the situation, just in case someone needs revive'n.  Where are you putting those? ..... I'd prefer you keep the smelling salts close at hand.

(Hey I like their chances of survival but there's alot that can go wrong after surgery)

Go Dodgers!!!

Dodgers All But Dead?

Most excellent post Socal.

Talk about bring'n the fire or thunder (well which ever you think best is what you be bring'n!)

I love the stat on the Cards too..I may have to use that in a later Dodger Post. (don't worry, all credit will be given to the rightful person-You in this case)

Well since your post the Dodgers did indeed get the sweep of the Dbacks and have extended the streak to 8.  Yep I know 8 is great but 9 is ah shucks there's just not a suitable rhyme for that. I mean 9 is fine?  That surely wouldn't do it just right?  I knew you'd feel the same.

Well the Dodgers play the Pads and the Dbacks face the prodigy Lincecum tonight....the news just keeps getting better as of late.

Lets hope the good times continue to roll!

Thanks for the post.

Go LA!!!

Dodgers All But Dead?

7 in a row boys!!  LA has beaten down AZ during the first two games, all the while beating two of the best pitchers in the National League in back to back weekends!  SICK!!!!!  Ethier is killing the ball, Manny's being more than Manny, and the Dodgers are in 1st place alone for the furst time since April 4th!!  What a weekend so far!!  Couldn't have asked for more!!

Today the futures of each franchise match up- Clayton Kershaw vs. Max Scherzer.  Originally scheduled were the ageless wonders Greg Maddux and Randy Johnson, which wouldn't have been anywhere near as exciting as the kids going this afternoon.

Bat, your sweep thoughts are still alive- as Russell Martin was quoted this weekend, "Nobody comes into our house and tells us what to do!"  Time to back it up one more time, BLUE!!!

And just ask the recent World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals (82-80 regular season record)- all you need is that chance to get into the dance- a rhyme for you Bat :-)- and anything can happen!

unfortuantly "bud" they'll be flying at half mast by mid September. Shame too I was really rooting for them.

Dodgers All But Dead?

Thanks for keep'n the blog alive.

Looking back it all began when the streak was at 3.  Hard to believe since that time they've managed to win 3 more making the total 6. (they've doubled it from the 3 if I've added correctly)

So Should Six Straight Sound Satisfacory? (oh yeah 6 esses in neat little row!)

Now I don't want to come off greedy but we could without a doubt, use more fortune shined upon Americas Team*  So we got the 1st game vs. those Disliked Dbacks.

Why can't we have the 2nd?

I can't recall when we had first place all by our lonesome this year.  Can you?  If we win tonight that very thing will happen.  Imagine that , Americas Team* with its flag above all the rest in the West.

Well here's to keep'n hope alive.

*Americas Team=The Dodgers

not sure why you left out eithier!!! lol he has been hot for a while now and only getting hotter. And now we dont need kent and nomar, nomar is good but defensively i would rather have berroa out there and right now berroa is finally seeing the ball and gaining his 2003 confidence back. Kent?? after all his negative comments I woul rather have dewitt in there. Team chemistry goes a lot further then a future hall of famer. Dewitt is stepping up and when I see him up there I have confidence. I like the way we look right now, our pitching is doing great (our bull pen could be a lil more stable but I wont complain.)

The talent is there with Ramirez, Kemp, Loney, Martin and Blake. We need a healthy Kent and No-Ma and we need Billingsly, Lowe, and the other arms to come through. It won't be easy but it could be done. If not, then I'll have to fall back on my #2 team, the Halo's

Great post Bata, I'm right there with you brother.

I think it would be great theatre to see Manny up against the Bosox in the World Series, but I don't think that EITHER team

will be there at the end of October.

Dodgers All But Dead?

Win, win,

where are they going even if they do WIN?  (famous quote by none other than winsumbuc himself!)

Where are they going even if they win?  Sorry to break it to ya bud but it appears with most certainty we'll be headed to NEW YORK to face the METS.(zinger YES!)

Only one team will win the World Series.  So should all the fans except for what the Angels and Rays give up?

All it takes is a little momentum heading in....and guess what?

With a 3 game win streak , that's exactly what we got!

Oh yeah, woohooo!  No ones rain'n on this parade! (well not today)
