Spurrier is most unprofessional coach.

I knew UGA would have a tough game against S. Car.  We always do. Their defense is top notch this year. But after the game was over, Spurrier showed just how much of a total jerk he really is. First when Mark Richt goes to him, Steve doesn't even look him in the eyes and does not say a word. Then as different UGA players come to him, he just walks away and avoids all players. Now, Mark on the other hand immediately after trying to shake Steve's hand, makes a bee-line to Cook the TE that wrecked havoc on UGA D all day and give him a huge pat on the back and you could even see it on TV, Mark tells him, great game twice and really looks him in the eyes and congratulated him. I am so sick of Spurriers attitude. I hope the rumors are true and Skip Holtz is headed to S Car. I know Spurrier has hated UGA since we beat him in his senior year and cost FLA the National Championship, but come on...let it go Steve. Again, he is the worst example a young college players needs. Ask his old players at UF about how they found out he was leaving FLA to go to the NFL by an ESPN announcement. He never even faced them personally. He is a coward and lives only on his past accomplishments. He needs to retire!!!!

Anyway, great job for UGA to hold on and get a hard fought win. GO DAWGS!!!!

Spurrier is most unprofessional coach.

I can't remember the title but there was a book written about his years at Fla and in it he is quoted as saying, that his biggest regret was not winning the National Championship his senior year and that any chance he got to pay back UGA he would, that was why he wanted to run the score up on us so bad during his glory years. Don't get me wrong, he WAS a great coach, but that does not excuse his attitude and behavior.

Spurrier is most unprofessional coach.

The main thing about Spurrier that gets me is his throwing down his visor, his headphones, playcall list, etc. out of disgust at how his team is playing.  I guess he has to get it out of his system, especially with the Gamecocks usually choking at key points in key games.

And I can understand how the Bulldog Nation cannot stand him, but I think Spurrier has had so many awards, accomplishments, etc. that he is not reliving that loss to UGA decades ago.  JMO.
