analysis of broncos vs chargers game: week 2

I still have a sick feeling in my stomach, I went to work and all my buddies in my simply looked at eachother and we all knew what the other was thinking, "Weve been robbed a win." Now i accept that the Chargers lost and the Broncos won, what I dont accept is the fact that ed told norv turner that he messed up yet gave the broncos the ball anyways, its absurd. But anyways, heres my thoughts on yesterdays game:

Did the broncos and chargers both forget how to play defense, i mean that was one of the saddest showings of defense i have ever seen. The broncos played well defensively in the first half while the bolts defense played horribly, then in the second half the chargers played well defensively while broncos sucked. Overall both teams need to tighten up their defenses if they hope to win any playoff games. By the way, congratulations to Antoine Cason for getting his first interception. And Ted Cottrell needs to learn to make adjustments before halftime, because thats killin us.

Philip Rivers and Jay Cutler are both great quarterbacks and i think could have a Tom Brady vs Peyton Manning type thing going on in a few years, except for the fact that they hate eachother. Both had great games and both are very outspoken and capable leaders. Brandon Marshall had a monster game with 18 catches, no matter who we put on him, he would cathc it. Our secondary needs to get their hands on the ball more often. Great game by Darren Sproles, i believe he had 317 all purpose yards which quite frankly is incredible. I really hope that LaDainian Tomlinson is ok and will be 100% next week.

In the end the chargers got robbed but also gave up too many points, if the bolts defense will improve they will be a force to be reckoned with. Luckily next week they are playing the Jets who barely beat the Dolphins and lost to a brady-less Patriots. I definitely see us getting our first win then. Have a great week people.

analysis of broncos vs chargers game: week 2

Nice post.  Most threads I’ve read on this subject get real negative real fast.  Both teams have talent that will extend this rivalry for years to come.  I was impressed with Rivers and Sproles play.  The second half was incredible watching the Charger’s get back in the game and take the lead.  The offensive show and fire power of both teams had me jumping out of my chair. Let’s just hope this game is meaningless, and the Chargers and Broncos can play for the division championship in December.  I can’t wait to see these two teams lock horns again.

For a minute I thought they had a high school ref out there making that call.  I feel sorry for you Charger fans, I hope this doesn't affect any standings down the road.  But on the good side at least your home team isn't the Lions!!!!!   I have a headache.
