We will be better without Crawford and Bradley.

I have said this so many times before, we will be better this season because the surrounding talent is so much better. This will be our deepest roster since at least the 2003 season. Crawford and Bradley may have averaged 32 ppg combined but they cost us 6.1 turnovers per game (more than one third of the teams average). These 6.1 turnovers led to on average 10-15 points for the opposing team.  Also, how many uneccessary threes did they attempt that led to a long rebound and an easy basket for the opposing team? Do not get me wrong, what they did last season was admirable. They played very hard and fought every game. However, due to our lack of depth because of injuries, we had to depend on them to carry us on their back. Hence, they scored majority of the points but  made most of the mistakes in doing so. This team has 13 scholarship players who for the most part are rated 3 stars or higher. This is a more talented team with limited experience. It may take them some time to gel and we may lose games early but by January or so this Kentucky team will be dangerous. Go Cats.
