Well, now that my beloved Chicago White Sox have laid an egg in Tampa (St. Petersburg), coming off like "weak sisters of St. Cecelia", it's back to hitter-friendly US Cellular Field ("The Cell") in Chicago to lick our wounds. Let's hope that we can regroup and play like the White Sox are capable of playing.
In Tampa, they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Call it "dome-a-phobia." It was horrible to watch them squander opportunities after opportunities with runners in scoring position. Like yesterday's game. Bases loaded, no outs, the "big guns" at the plate, and what do we get: 2--count'em--2 measly runs!!! That's pitiful.
Oh well, it's time to turn the page. Let's get two at home and send the series back to Tampa for a Game 5. We can only hope. Go SOX!!
