Ryder Cup

I was just reading comments about the Ryder Cup. Golf should have more of that. Make teams from different countries, kind of like a Davis Cup. I know that they have that tournament where two guys from each country play, but you need that face to face challenge to make it exciting. It definitely makes me want to watch golf. In fact, I watched more golf than I did college football yesterday. They should think about it!
And what's up with Poulter after his afternoon match yesterday? I felt like one of the Americans (my pick would be JB Holmes) should rush him and body slam him! Braddah, it's still golf. They get on Boo's case, but they let Poulter act like that?? Come on! GO USA!

Ryder Cup

Johnny Miller-UGH- he does it again!

Why in the world does Johnny Miller keep saying that the Euros should be easy pickins for the US? Their team finished 1st 2nd 3rd and two who tied for 7th at the British open. They finished 1st 2nd and tied for 4th at the PGA Championship. At the US Open they finished 3th 4th and 6th with 1st and 2nd not competing for the US. They won the players championship and the best we did was two tied for tenth. They have Lee Westwood and Sergio Garcia with incredible Ryder cup records. Johnny what do you want? Johnny keeps saying that they are decimated because they don't have Monty and Darren Clark. The Euros came into this with the highest world ranking they have ever had.

Our team on the other hand, has 6 rookies and two guys Kenny Perry who only played in one Ryder Cup and never won a match and Justin Leonard who hasn't played in a Ryder cup since 1999 and never won a match, but aren't they playing their guts out in this one. Our other 4 players all have pretty abysmal Ryder Cup Records, but aren't they playing their guts out, too. Our guys may not win it, but they have all played great so far against what I consider be a great Euro team. Johnny do you think before you say these things? GO USA!!
